Committee on Sustainability and Stewardship

 

The Committee on Sustainability and Stewardship (formerly the Campus Sustainability Advisory Council, or CSAC) advises the Advisory Committee for Facilities, or ACF, and thereby the Chancellor and Campus Provost/Executive Vice Chancellor on all areas related to campus sustainability.

 

Areas of Focus Include:

  • Provide a campus wide, integrated perspective and a forum for discussing campus sustainability issues.
  • Interpret and make recommendations for implementation of the Regents mandates for green building and energy conservation, transportation and other policies as developed.
  • Review, evaluate priorities, and make recommendations for coordination of existing and proposed campus sustainability programs and activities.
  • Make recommendations to support the integration of sustainability into campus operations planning, construction, research, instruction and public service.
