Green Campus Program
The Alliance to Save Energy’s Green Campus Program is a publicly funded program to implement energy conservation on college campuses. At UC Santa Cruz, paid student interns work on implementing programs that will result in measured energy savings on the campus. In 2006-7, the interns focused on projects in Physical Plant and Housing, and Dining Services.

Projects include:
- College 8 Energy Conservation Challenge
- Crown/Merrill CFL free handout
- Dining Hall Water Conservation Project
- Campus Relamping Project
- Campus Walk Through Energy Audits Survey.
