Water & Drought Action Team
The Water Action and Drought Response Team aims to foster a campus wide culture of water conservation by testing water fixtures across campus, collecting data, researching best practices, monitoring water usage on campus, posting educational signage and providing water resources to the public.
California is currently experiencing the fourth year of drought conditions. This is especially difficult for the City of Santa Cruz because both the University and County receive all of their water from local water sources.
