Faculty Opportunities in Climate Change Education

(Volunteer Opportunity for the 7th Annual Campus Earth Summit)

Climate change is arguably the most pressing issue the human species has ever faced. Because of the severity of the problem, a wealth of research has been released in the past decade. Much of these findings have demonstrated connections of the steady warming of our planet to nearly all disciplines.

Because of the interdisciplinary nature of climate change, the Student Environmental Center and the Sustainability Office are asking faculty members to help us spread the word about the seriousness of this issue. You can help out by dedicating 10-15 minutes of your class times in the week of January 28th to talk about how your field of study has been or will be affected by global warming, climate, and/or sustainability.
