The UCSC Carbon Fund is a granting body that funds student and staff projects that reduce our carbon footprint. We provide funding, support, and participation in sustainability projects on campus and in the community that directly reduce greenhouse gas emissions, conduct relevant research, or carry out educational programs.

Carbon Fund Committee
Carbon Fund Committee meetings are also open to the public. Interested students, staff, faculty or community members may attend but do not have speaking rights unless requested in advance. If you are interested in attending please contact the Carbon Fund staff beforehand.
About the Carbon Fund
The Carbon Fund committee strives for a sustainable future by working to mitigate climate change through funding and participating in projects to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, conduct relevant research, or carry out education and behavioral change programs. The Committee’s commitment is foremost to the campus and its students, but also to the wider community as climate change is a threat without boundaries.
