Who are we?
Student Sustainability Advisors (SSAs) are peer-to-peer educators who serve UC Santa Cruz's residential housing areas. These 8 student leaders provide programming and educational opportunities within UC Santa Cruz’s residential communities around sustainability topics, share events and information with the residents of their communities about sustainability and environmental behavior, and serve as sustainability liaisons within CHES (Colleges, Housing, & Educational Services). SSAs also implement annual projects on campus that forward campus sustainability goals, strategies, and one-year actions as guided by the Sustainability & Climate Action Plan.
